Holiday Special and Recent Work...

It is almost Thanksgiving! Where did this year go??? It seems as if I blinked and October and November flew by in the nano second that I had my eyes closed. But since the holidays are upon us I wanted to make crossing some people off of your list easy and lighten your holiday load by offering a holiday gift package special. Brittany and Romy...Married {Sneak Peek}

I'm behind on editing but in light of starting the week with a wedding, I thought I'd stay in the spirit and post a few frames from Brittany and Romy's wedding. I could go on and on about how beautiful the ceremony was and how me and my bpf shed a few tears but I'll save that for the full blog post.

Javier and Maria...Married

I had the distinct pleasure of documenting Javier and Maria's wedding last month. It was such an amazing day and I'm so happy to have been a part of it. The happiness and love felt during that day warms my heart! As I edited the photos, I awwwed and smiled the whole time. Thank you Javier and Maria for allowing me to document your wedding day. :) I wish you nothing but the best in your future together! Congratulations!

Hartley Botanica - Wedding Promo Shoot...

Somis, California is home to the lovely Hartley Botanica. A 3 acre spread of land that is nestled outside of the sleepy town of Moorpark. It is a fully operating plant nursery but that is not its main attraction.  It contains picturesque gardens that are breathtakingly beautiful. You can arrange to reserve areas of the gardens for weddings and special events and now that I have been there I don't know why everyone doesn't get married there. It is absolutely stunning from beautiful greenery, millions of plants, and striking architectural elements.

I had the distinct pleasure of visiting the gardens as part of a wedding promo shoot. The lovely Seleta and Terry from Eternally Yours Photography set up an amazing day for photographers, models, and hairstylists to work together and get  the chance to share their skills for each other's benefit. I am super grateful for the lovely Barbara of Harlety Botanica for allowing us to shoot in the gardens and to Seleta and Terry for setting up such an amazing opportunity. I love that I have such supportive and amazing friends in my life. :)

Javier and Maria...Married...Well Almost

Here we are on a Thursday. They are almost married. Only 2 days left until Javier and Maria's big day. I am giddy with anticipation as I'm sure they are as well. :) We spent a lovely afternoon together documenting their love during their recent engagement session. They are the epitome of a couple in love. They exchanged smiles and warm hearted laughs during our session, they held hands, they hugged, they snuck kisses when they thought no one was watching. They were also up for anything which is a photographer's dream. They came out looking just gorgeous and happy in their photos and that is how they are in real life. I am so excited to be able to document their big day. Stayed tuned for the next blog - Javier and Maria....Married!!!
